I use to be like you.
Afraid to ask for what I knew I deserved. Hoping my boss would notice my hard work, working unpaid over time & taking extra classes. It got me nothing, but MORE work! I quickly realized the traditional “work hard” system was long gone & time for owning my talent & skills was the only thing that was going to get me where I wanted to be. Figuring that out changed my life, empowered me to know my worth, & most of all allowed me to pass those negotiating skills on.
Over 13 years in the career consulting/coaching space.
Engineering/tech was my first field. I guided my spouse through clearances, negotiations, and deep into the six figure mark well before he was 35. This got the attention of a lot of friends & co-workers who wanted the same kind of help! I left my background in accounting & comp analysis, combined with my education in Psychology, got my certification in Career Coaching & dove in! I’ve loved every minute since.
